NZ Crops At Risk Due To Carbon Emissions

New Zealand is considered to be one of the world’s finest crop growing terrains. So it is a serious concern to hear about how that can all change. AgResearch researcher Zac Beechey-Gradwell spoke with NZ’s 1News,

Co2 is basically like sugar for plants, all other things equal, more Co2 will increase plant growth.

While, this is not of immediate concern, the implications are all too clear, failure to act today over CO2 emission levels, could cause a devastating problem in the near future that could lead to world famine.
