Terrorists opened fire at 6.30 pm as the event was set to be underway in the popular Bondi Beach resort. Two terrorists are reportedly under police custody. There have been eye witness reports of at least 10 people lying on the ground with seemingly severe injuries. This is an ongoing incident. This terrorist attack follows very unpopular political action by the Australian government against Israel, which many Australian Jews described as insensitive and creating a recipe for antisemitic attacks in the country.
