Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong confirms Australia will no longer recognise West Jerusalem as the capital of Israel until peace negotiations are finalised.

This move is regarded as irrelevant in Israel as the whole of Jerusalem is claimed as its capital. Furthermore, the PA has consistently backed away from any negotiations that fail to begin by recognizing all its claims on Israel.
